Donations hit 25% mark

Donation update:
We have passed the 25% mark. Thanks for your help. Please share this with your Pirate supporters.

Here are examples of ways your donations have helped;
1. Building permits for Phase 1 of the project have been paid and we are ready to start the work depending on weather and availability of Bob Jenkins & Scott Partney our general contractor.
2. The first phase includes pouring the main Quarter Deck wall, pouring the side walls of the upper seating area on both sides, installation of the two stairways that allows people to get to the top seating area, and installation of railing in the upper seating area.

To help manage our costs for the first phase we have concrete donated by Knife River, 2 x 4’s for framing concrete work we think at this time will be donated by Georgia Pacific, and a reduced price has been secured from Coos Head Builders for MDO plywood and epoxy for holes that are to be drilled in the concrete. This cost not including donations for materials and labor runs approx. 42 K. The donations and some in kind labor will help reduce that number for us.
