Class Challenge Update – Getting near the goal line

It’s been a great year so far for Pirates, both on the field and for the new roof project.  Our #1 ranked Pirates beat North Bend 55-6 last weekend and are 4-0 for the season. They have some tough games coming up, including North Eugene and #2 ranked Marist.  If you’re in town on October 29th, come watch the Marist game and check out how close the Raise the Roof project is to completion.  There will be an Open House from 4:00 – 5:30 PM.

Your response to our final phase of fundraising has been terrific.  Our appeal for funding the final stages, including ADA accessibility, started in April.   We’ve received over $33,000 in cash donations and also received healthy in-kind donations of material and labor.

The number of classes donating over $2,500 jumped from 10 classes to 12 since our last update.  Four classes are within $500 of reaching the Purple level.  The class of ’53 is only $100 away.  If you can help push your class to the next level of recognition, please do.  Recognition plaques at the stadium begin at the $100 level – see here for details.
