Hi everyone! – I hope all is well with everyone. Here is a list of plan of action for the south stands for this Spring and Summer.
1. Work on finishing seating and hand rails for the upper seating level. Work is now being done on this portion of the stadium. Bob, Boyd, and myself have already been working on this. We hope to have this done in the next 30 days.
2. Framing will be done on the 5 viewing boxes. We already have the lumber for the framing donated by Southport Lumber. We also hope to have this done in the next 30 days. The framing will be done by my nephew Jeremy Bourell of Bourell Construction and his crew at no charge to the project.
3. When framing is complete the electrical rough in will be completed. This work will be done by Casey Waterman of Electrical Specialty at no charge to the project. We hope to have this done in the next 60 days.
4. After electrical rough in is done, sheet rock will be completed by Mckenzie Freeman of Freeman Drywall at no charge to the project. We hope to have this done by the end of July.
5. Boyd Bjorquist and I met with Julie Nix of Medallion Industries in Portland yesterday. We discussed 5 doors and hardware for entry into the viewing boxes, and also glass for the front of the viewing boxes. Julie is a Marshfield grad and is the Vice President of Medallion Industries. She is going to work up what she can do in regards to a discounted cost for these products.
